Count Scope is designed as an offline-first tool to count words, characters, sentences, lines, and analyze text metrics locally on your device.

2. Offline First & No Data Collection

We believe in absolute privacy. Count Scope functions completely offline:

• No Server Uploads: Your text content is never uploaded to any remote servers, cloud databases, or third-party networks.
• Zero Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, request, or store any personal identity information, such as your name, email address, phone number, or device identifiers.
• Local Computation: All analytics, character counting, keyword density calculations, and readability statistics are computed locally on your device inside the application sandbox.

3. Third-Party Code & SDKs

Count Scope does not use any third-party SDKs that track user behavior, display advertisements, or collect analytics telemetry. The packages utilized in our application (such as Riverpod and Flutter Animate) are open-source libraries that run locally on your device without transmitting data over the internet.

4. Device Permissions

Count Scope requests only the minimum necessary permissions to function:

• Vibration Control: Used strictly to provide subtle haptic feedback when you interact with editor buttons and sliders.
• Local File Export (Optional): Used only when you choose to export your text analysis reports as TXT, CSV, or PDF documents. We only write files to the directories you specify and do not read your other storage contents.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application is suitable for users of all age groups (3+) and does not collect any data. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect or process data from children under the age of 13.

6. Security

Because all operations occur entirely on your own device, the security of your data depends on your device's security. Your input text remains in the app's local memory or temporary state history and is cleared immediately when you close the application or clear the workspace.
